DENDURA Signs With KILLZONE RECORDS

DENDURA, the female-fronted, prog-metal band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, has inked a deal with KillZone Records. According to a press release, DENDURA are a perfect fit for KillZone "because they stand out from the norm in terms of talent, ability and marketability, bringing a presence of their own. They present an unforgettable approach to progressive metal that builds and weaves dark themes with the allure of sensual mystery. Their music and sound calls from a past that touches both the primal and inquisitive nature of our souls. They combine powerful, heavy music that drives like the shifting sands, carrying vocals like rising smoke and invoking the ghosts of a land and time long passed, but never forgotten."

DENDURA has previously put out a self-released album, "New Life", and has contributed a song to the award-winning film "Broken".

The band will begin recording its next album this winter for a 2008 release.

DENDURA will open for EDGUY and ECHOES OF ETERNITY on October 8 in Detroit, Michigan.
